Tony comes from an athletic background, a high profile name in Canadian basketball enjoying his many achievements as an athlete. His proudest moment came when he was invited by the late National Coach Jack Donohue to try-out for the 1988 Seoul Olympic team. His passion for the sport has fuelled him to become a major promoter. Tony was asked to be part of a committee for the Naismith Classic which brought two NBA games to Ottawa. He was instrumental in developing and expanding his Rautins-House Basketball Schools into the largest in Canada. Tony's expertise has also been called upon in the broadcasting world. He has appeared as an analyst nationally on Rogers Sportsnet's "Road to the Final Four", TEAM 1200 radio and hosted 2 shows (Big Bad Sports Show and In the House) on Rogers TV.

Most noted is his commitment to community, having volunteered and lent his name to a number of organizations. He takes pride in all of these causes but it was his signature event – the Rautins-House Celebrity Golf Classic that gave him his most fulfillment. He turned a vision in the fall of 2001 into one of the most distinguished golf tournaments in the country and raised over $250,000 in the 7 years he hosted it. House now runs the Kaleidoscope of Hope Gala (www.kaleidoscopeofhope.ca) with his wife Sharon for Teen Mental Health/Depression and support of the Youth Services Bureau. He also sits on the Board of the Ringside for Youth (www.ringside.ca) a great fundraising event for the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club.

As an artist and creative communications director, Johanna has developed and maintained successful comprehensive marketing campaigns for a range various businesses and other development projects.

Prior to starting her own design company in 1992, she received a diploma in graphic design (with high honors). Since graduating, she has gained valuable experience in a range of professions in the field of marketing and communications, including: graphics, web design, video, producing various advertising mediums from trade show material to wall murals to social networking in todays' digital online world. Also within the same year of starting her own business, Johanna got involved in amateur sports that continued for 20 years which resulted in a professional sports accreditation in 2008.

Bearing a strong competitive drive in both fields of communication and sport, Johanna has achieved great success by setting high standards, unlimited passion, and continuos determination.

 

Gus Ayoub, VP, Sales and Business Development


Born and raised in Ottawa, Gus has 18 years of sales and marketing experience. He began his sales career in 1992 with Bell Mobility. He worked at Bell as an Account Manager for 3 years exceeding all assigned quotas.

In 1995 he was an original hire of the Ottawa Senators, NHL's new franchise to build their Corporate Sales Team. Over his nine years, five in a Senior Account Manager role. Gus was promoted to a Director of Sales position where he then had six sales representatives reporting to him.

Gus's strengths have always been developing and maintaining a high level of business relationships. The multi-million dollar portfolio that he built over the years with the Ottawa Senators is most impressive, and it's this senior network that he brings Chi.
